Dental Emergencies in Carlton OR

Why does it seem like dental emergencies always happen at the most inconvenient times? If you have a toothache or dental pain, contact our Carlton, OR dental office right away. We treat dental emergencies as quickly as possible, usually by providing same-day dental appointments.

Is It a Real Dental Emergency?

It is tempting to put off the call to your Carlton emergency dentist if you are unsure whether your condition warrants an immediate appointment.

Here are some situations in which you should contact us for an appointment with Dr. Leif Gambee right away.

  • You have a toothache
  • You have bleeding that won’t stop
  • You have a knocked-out tooth
  • You have swelling in the face, jaw, or gums

Pain is your body’s way of alerting you to a problem. Since most dental conditions do not cause pain until they are well advanced, pain is a sign that immediate attention is necessary.

Swelling indicates the presence of an infection. Infections may worsen over time and can put your body’s entire wellbeing at risk.

We have only hours to save a knocked-out tooth from a sports or auto accident. Keep the tooth moist and contact us right away.

Don’t Let Your Dental Emergency Go Untreated

At Carlton Dental, our compassionate team understands that many people stay away from the dentist because of fear or anxiety. These emotions can skyrocket when facing an emergency situation. You need not worry, however, because Dr. Gambee has a gentle and kind chairside manner that will calm you. He will give you an accurate diagnosis and describe all of your treatment options so that you can make an informed choice.

Putting off care can make pain worse and also puts your tooth at risk. Our goal is to avoid the extraction of teeth, and seeking our professional help promptly reduces that risk.
